Today, we are focusing on our stores by type gallery, looking specifically at a linen store. This particular mini gallery offers four unique views into how M. Fried store fixtures made the most space for the best display options.
Even better, it’s relatively simple to imagine how these displays can work well in your store. In this shot, we give you a broad view of how slatwall, shelving, and accessories work to display a huge assortment of hanging and folded items. And, here, you can see how slatwall and shelving work in a coved corner, creating clean lines and massive space options. Imagine how you could fill your shelves and slatwall and what you can hang in the unused areas, as well.
This merchandiser display works wonderfully in the alcove created in the prior picture and shows you how you can incorporate a number of coordinating display options in one space. M. Fried Store Fixtures offers beautiful Glass Cube Units that are durable and go with virtually any display style and store theme.
Stack these cubes, place them back-to-back, display them against a wall, you decide. Create a stand-alone display or scatter cubes throughout your shop—mix and match these cubes and change them around to keep your customers’ eyes moving and their interest in your products new. Buy many and use a wall of cubes to separate your space and instill the feeling of several rooms.
And, these cubes can display just about anything. Auto parts, shoes, bags, household goods, toys, books, smaller electrical appliances, accessories for any product line, craft supplies, or linens and towels—the list is only limited by your imagination.
Consider this: Mix cubes with your gondola shelving and slatwall to create interesting displays that can easily be changed to suit your store’s theme, the season, sale periods, and your inventory.

At M. Fried Store Fixtures, we have a great combination: Our new gallery of pictures combined with our gondola shelving. We do have many, many photographs of our massive array of gondola shelving and gondola accessory products, which you have always been able to view when you look in the products section of the site. But, for even more ideas and for a first-hand view on what installed gondola shelving looks like in real stores, just like yours, why not take a few moments to relax in our gallery and check out the various configurations.
Here is an example of a how a toy storeowner has installed and utilized gondola shelving. You can see how the shelving enables you to place a great deal of merchandise neatly and in a small space, all while maintaining good customer accessibility to your products. Notice how shelves are set in different height configurations to accommodate packaging of varying sizes so that everything collaborates in an unobtrusive manner. You can do the same in your store, regardless of your product line specialty.
Here, you can see slatwall paneling and gondola shelving in advance of products being stored. Wall mount uprights are also in place for additional storage and shelving options, which can be easily moved and has been installed to enable display of products in different height capacities, again showing how versatile all of these products are. Baskets are a great accompaniment to your gondola shelving and enable you to display all sorts of products, especially those products that work well in the three-dimensional environment of a basket. At M. Fried Store Fixtures, we have a large assortment of gondola and peg baskets from which to choose.
Mix and match different sized and sloped baskets and mix baskets with shelving to maintain customer interest and expand your display options. Choose a few Gondola Open End Baskets (Item P079), which are larger at 48 inches in width, to hold a few of your larger pieces or more of your smaller items. Our Gondola Open End Basket Dividers (Item P080) can be used with most any basket display. Just remember to order these in the same size as the basket they are dividing. By the way, these dividers can also be used as basket ends in your displays. Both items have a chrome finish.
To ensure a more secure hanging environment, we suggest our Basket Clip (Item WBCM), which allows you to hang baskets from the gondola with more strength and durability. These are also offered in a chrome finish.
Mixing and matching slatwall and gondolas is always a winning combination. Slat Garment Displays include the Slatwall Foam Head Holder (SHHC) and the Slat Handbag Displays include the Slatwall 5-Hook Straighout – Rectangular Tubing (WH5H), which has slatwall attachments that help maintain clothes in a stylish manner.
